Lung Health

We can take our lungs for granted, they keep us alive and well and for the most part. However, when you are experiencing difficulties with your breathing your whole life is affected.

​You can see a Lung Health Nurse for the following:

​Asthma

  • Complete lung history and allergy assessment
  • Spirometry testing to confirm, diagnose and monitor treatment
  • Education about asthma and triggers
  • Patient Support as needed

​COPD (Chronic Obstructive Lung Disease)

  • COPD Education
  • Monitoring Treatment
  • Pulmonary Rehab Service

Jennifer Millard

Registered Nurse, Certified Respiratory Educator and a Certified Tobacco Educator

She graduated from Queens University in 1999 with a Bachelor of Nursing Science (BNSc). She has worked on the Neurosciences floor of the London Health Sciences Centre, St., Thomas Elgin Mental Health Centre, as a travel nurse in the United States for 3 years. As well as in the ER Dept. at Thomas Elgin General Hospital, ICU, pediatrics and General Medicine Floor.

In 2012, Jennifer relocated to Dryden and began working in ER Department at Dryden Regional Health Centre and then later moved over the Dryden Area Family Health Team where she is now currently working as the Lung Health Nurse.
